Terms of use updated

As part of the update to patch 1.3.1, we have added a point to the terms of use. We already announced this last year, and the “Inactivity & automatic deletion” point will now also be implemented from February 2025.

Item 3.9 and its two sub-items are new:

3.9 apron:pilot checks all registered groups in the free version (i.e. without a subscription to paid modules or functionalities) for inactivity on a monthly basis in order to clean up data and optimize storage space.

3.9.1. A group is considered inactive if no assigned user has logged into the application in the last 6 months. The group is marked as inactive and flagged for deletion. Administrators are notified of this inactivity by e-mail.

3.9.2. If there is no activity in the group within a further month (e.g. by users logging into the system) or if there is no subscription to chargeable modules or functionalities, the group and all associated data (e.g. user & aircraft data, file uploads & images, logbook & reservation data, etc.) will be permanently deleted from the system. It is not possible to restore this data afterwards.

All users will therefore receive a message after the update that the terms of use have been updated. After successful login, these must now be agreed to again.
