Welcome to 2022! We have a lot planned for the new year!
But we start with two less good news...
Essentially, the range of functions, the number of possible users and storage space (e.g. for files or stored invoices), as well as the scope of support will differ between the free and paid version. More details about pricing and limitations of the functionality will follow. However, it is certain that we are aiming for this change by the end of this year.
But now to the good news!
Furthermore we did a usage analysis in the last weeks at the turn of the year and found out that we have some unused group accounts, which might have been created as a test or no switch to apron:pilot was made, but are not used anymore since then. That is absolutely OK! However, we will contact all administrators of such accounts until the middle of the year and ask if the accounts & data are still needed. In the sense of data security, storage space optimization and to offer the active users the best possible performance, we will delete unused accounts & data bit by bit - BUT: of course only after explicit feedback of the administrators & owners of the accounts.
So much for the current status! We are looking forward to 2022 and we are looking forward to offer you an even better system & even better features! But most of all we are looking forward to hearing from you, your opinion, your feedback, your feedback from the survey!

From apron:pilot freeware towards freeware & payware
The last months, the last year was fantastic! We could welcome some new clubs, owner communities and user groups using the system. But with the increasing usage we also noticed that the effort to operate, the server and operating costs increase and that new features also require additional payware modules. Version 1.2 will come later
The second not-so-good-news concerns version 1.2. We cannot keep our promise to deliver in Q1/2022. We are currently planning version 1.2, where among other things the statistics module and the flight share module will be included, together with the conversion to payware for the end of the year.But now to the good news!
Update 1.1.4 and 1.1.5
As interim updates and for preparatory activities, we will roll out two updates to 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 during the year. In early Q2 we plan to update to 1.1.5, then in the summer we will update to 1.1.5.
