About us
The idea for apron:pilot was born end of 2019. It started as a one man project but soon caught the attention of different people from various flight clubs and flight schools, all having the same issue: there is no great application out there, that is easy to use, modern and responsive and uses web technology from today! Also price and setup costs were an issue.
Pushed by motivation for our hobby, David Ornigg started to develop the first prototype and brought ideas into code. This project is not intended to become a huge business or earn money. It is a great application made by pilots for pilots, which should make aircraft reservation easy and intuitive, especially for private aircraft holders or smaller flight schools / clubs.
We love what we are doing, but still, operational costs are a thing. If you like apron:pilot and like to use it, help us improve and keep it alive by making a donation!
