What do I have to do as an administrator of an existing account?

If you want to continue using apron:pilot with all features & functions in your group (club, owner community etc.), you have to activate a PREMIUM package. The number of users, aircraft and the needed storage space is the basis for this. Depending on your requirements you have to activate the BRONZE, SILVER or GOLD package, either as monthly or yearly package.

If you want to continue using apron:pilot for FREE, there are the following restrictions:

• Maximum 10 users
• Maximum 1 aircraft
• Maximum 25 megabytes of storage space (for files, NOTAM, pictures etc.)

If this is fulfilled, you can continue to use apron:pilot.

If not - for example because you have more than 10 users in the group - then you will get appropriate warnings. Additionally it is important that the system automatically blocks user accesses & aircraft according to certain criteria!

What changes for me as a user?

Users do not have to do anything for the time being!

As a user you will only notice the difference between FREE and PREMIUM if functions are no longer available. In this case please contact the administrator!

What does the transition period until the end of 2023 mean?

For all new as well as existing customers, PREMIUM can be used FREE of charge until the end of the year 2023 without doing anything!

From 01.01.2024, however, this period will expire and ALL PREMIUM functions will be deactivated from then on. From this date on the restrictions for number of users, aircraft and storage space will apply.
